Lingerie

Suggested Scent: Jasmine, Lavender, Grapefruit

The word lingerie encompasses a lot of different items; including bras, camis, hosiery, medical hosiery, shapewear, costumes and panties. Eucalan's gentle no-rinse formula is delicate enough to care for all your lingerie. We recommend lavender or grapefruit because these essential oils have antiseptic properties, which are beneficial for garments that lie close to the skin. However, you may want to try the intoxicating scent of Jasmine!

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR:

Bras should be washed after every other wear to keep them clean and to help them maintain their shape. Washing does not deteriorate bras: body oils, lotions, and simply wearing your bra cause fibre wear and tear. Washing keeps fibres clean and helps elastic maintain its original tension.

Follow directions for hand wash preferably.

  • Run tepid water and add Eucalan to running water.
  • Add 1 tsp of Eucalan per 1 gallon of water.
  • Insert article to be washed and soak for 15 minutes (minimum).
  • Soak longer or use high dosage of Eucalan for heavily soiled items.
  • Squeeze soap and water through with hands occasionally while item is soaking.
  • Spin (in machine) or squeeze excess water out (roll in a towel to remove further moisture).
  • Air dry flat away from direct heat or sunlight.

If you choose to machine wash, ensure fasteners are closed and place bra in a mesh laundry bag or pillow case to help protect it from other garments.

Hosiery can easily be laundered with Eucalan. It comes out beautifully even without rinsing. Medical hosiery requires no special instructions, but benefits greatly from the absence of optical brighteners or additives that might break down the elasticity.

  • Run tepid water and add Eucalan to running water.
  • Add 1 tsp of Eucalan per 1 gallon of water.
  • Insert article to be washed and soak for 15 minutes (minimum).
  • Squeeze article gently to incorporate water and soap through fibres.
  • No need to rinse.
  • Pull hosiery out of water and gently squeeze out excess water. Do not twist or ring.
  • Hang hosiery to dry.
  • If you need to launder in a machine, place hosiery in a mesh laundry bag or pillow case and be sure that it is separate from items with clasps or velcro.

All fibres from silk to rayon to polyester can be washed safely with Eucalan.
