Dive into Style and Comfort with Active Wear

June 26, 2023

When it comes to fashion, functionality and style go hand in hand. Swimsuits, workout gear, and active wear are not only essential for our favourite summertime activities but also represent a growing trend in everyday fashion. With a plethora of options available, it's important to stay up to date with the latest trends and learn how to care for these garments properly.

Swimsuits

High-cut one-pieces allow you to embrace a touch of nostalgia and are perfect for achieving a retro-inspired look. Unleash your wild side with animal print swimsuits, from classic leopard prints to zebra stripes. Cutouts continue to trend; they are modern and stylish and strategically placed cutouts show a hint of skin. Active Gear

Soft, dreamy pastel shades are in vogue for workout and active wear, offering a refreshing change from bold and vibrant colours. Opting for workout clothes made from recycled materials or sustainable fabrics like bamboo or organic cotton is good for the planet and kind to your skin. Coordinated sets are all the rage, offering both style and convenience. Mix and match colours and patterns for a personalized touch. Storing and Caring

for Your Swimsuit and Active Wear

One quick and easy step you can do after your workout or swim is to give the items a rinse with cold water immediately after use to remove chlorine, saltwater, or sweat, which can damage the fabric over time. A short soak with Eucalan, in your favorite scent, is a great way to refresh and reset for the next activity!

A major benefit of soaking activewear in Eucalan is the preservation of the garment's durability. Name-brand workout pieces can be expensive and they still are subject to stretching, shrinkage, or loosening at the seams in a washing machine. The inner thighs of leggings, for example, can get a lot of friction at the gym. When you’ve splurged for Lululemon leggings, you want those to look new as long as they can. If you add them to the washing machine, those inner thigh seams will continue to loosen and come out of their stitch.

Remember, a gentle squeeze, not wringing or twisting, is best to remove the water without stretching or damaging the fabric. Air-dry your garments away from direct sunlight.

Swimsuits, workout gear, and active wear are no longer confined to the realms of the beach or gym; they have become style statements in their own right. Incorporating Eucalan into your washing routine ensures that your favourite pieces remain vibrant, comfortable, and long-lasting. So dive into style and comfort, and make a splash!
